Karachi Green Line Bus – A Breath Of Fresh Air For Karachiites

Karachi is one of the most populated city on the planet. According to some recent estimates, the city holds a total population of 27-30 million. Karachi significantly adds to the national treasury as it is the hub of import and export through Port Qasim and Karachi Port. However, the transportation facilities in Karachi are not up to the mark. Due to overwhelming movement, traffic jams are routine and the roads give you a site of parking lots. As an answer to these problems, the Government of Pakistan has begun the development of Karachi Green Line Bus Project. The length of the course is around 26 kilometers. The Metro service will stretch from Merewether Tower to Surjani Town Karachi. There will be 22 stations in total.

The development at Karachi Green Line began on 26th of February 2016 and will be finished by end of 2017. The government has contracted Engineering Associates as the architects and supervision experts for the project, While Exponent Engineers, BNR, and Haider Mota have been contracted as the Transaction Advisory for Karachi Green Line Metro. The service will carry roughly 400,000 individuals on daily basis.
