The Government of Punjab has recently announced the redevelopment of WAHDAT COLONY Lahore. Wahdat Colony was built as a low rise housing colony in 1970's. The decision of redevelopment is to put the land of central Lahore to a good use. Lahore has limited and exceptionally costly land because of high population and ongoing infrastructure development throughout the city. According to estimates, Lahore populace is expanding by .6 million every year and we require 1 lac new housing units every year in Lahore. However, now Lahore Ring Road has defined limits of the city as main Lahore is inside Ring Road.
